STINGRAYS
Ages 5+
All swimmers MUST be able to swim unassisted the length of the pool without stopping or holding on to the lane lines.
Space is limited to the first 120 Members
FUTURE STINGRAYS
Designed for those that are almost ready for swim team !
This is perfect for ages 4-7 swimmers who do not have a fear of water but cannot swim the length of the pool yet.
We will work on stroke fundamentals, kicking, positioning and breathing.
Our goal is to build up confidence and skill to swim the length of the pool and float on back independently.
Requirements for Future Stingrays:
Must be able to swim independently 10 yards
Must be comfortable putting full face in the water.
*****All swimmers for Future Stingrays must complete a swim assessment prior to the start of swim season.*********
Swim Team Readiness Requirements:
Must be able to swim full length of the pool, unassisted (any stroke)
Must be able to float independently on back for 10 seconds, unassisted.
Must be comfortable putting full face in the water.
(Any swimmers that are 8 & Under and NEW to Westport Swim Team will need to complete a swim assessment prior to the start of the swim team season).
